Noisy Nights (In A Quiet Place)
In digital photography noise is not acoustical; it’s visual. It’s what happens when the photographer pushes the camera beyond its limits for proper exposure and clarity. It’s to be avoided. I call these photographs “Noisy Nights” because here I have intentionally amplified the visual noise. I welcome it like mist or fog. I want these images to evoke the feel of night as in a dream half remembered.
