Very Short Stories
What fascinates me about short stories, like those of Alice Munro, or short poems, like those of Marie Howe and Matsuo Basho, is how much is left for the reader to fill in and complete. Skillful writers give us just enough to lead us in the right direction and to activate our imaginations. The result is a kind of collaboration between writer and reader. I am trying something similar here with this series of photo assemblages.
